Rajendra Engineering Company was established in the West Bengal in the year 1964 at Kolkata founded by late Vasant Kumar A. Shah. During the period the -Company was handeling " Copper “ make 5 H.P. to 40 H.P. Diesel Engines & Pumps. -Manufacturer by “ WalChand " Group of Company at Satara ( Maharashtra ). During the period the Company was given distributors ship for the State of West Bengal. The Company viz. supplied this Engines & Pumps to Government & Semi Government for their left irrigation scheme through out the state of West Bengal through dealers network.

There after in the year 1981 - 1982 the Company was offered the distributors ship by " Enfild ( India ) Ltd. " for Marketing and Distributing " Villers " make MK 12 & 25 Engines & Pumps 1.5 H.K / 3.5 H.P. respectively.

Unfortunately in the year 1992, the founder member of the Company Vasant Kr. A. Shah expired. There after Mr. Sachin V. Shah son of Let Vasant Kr. A. Shah was appointed as a Managing Partner and is handeling the company day to day affairs, at present the Company's has 42 Dealers through out the State of West Bengal, who are - handeling the products marketed by Rajendra Engineering Company.

The Company is also importing " Power Tiller " and Marketing in West - Bengal Also the Company was Distributors for " Mahendra " make Electrical Motors and Pumps manufacturer at Coimbator ( Tamilnadu ).

The Company has been handeling the agricultural products from the year 1964 and still continue to do so with the above mention existing products. The Company has gained substaintial reputation with the customers, dealers as well as Manufacturer during the period, which the Company considered as a major strength and assets.

Presently the company is importing and marketing Techtop motors / pumps , also the company is the distributor for “ Groves Cotton Ltd”.
